The oilcake leaves the extraction machine through an adjustable cone and is then delivered to the second pressing. Because of their high oil content, Palm kernels have to be subjected to 2 stage pressing for maximum oil yield. The residue from First Stage Press is then transferred to a second palm kernel oil expeller machine for final crushing.

FAQ
- QWhich oil companies have drilled in Namibia?AUK-based Shell, which has drilled four exploration wells in the Atlantic Ocean off Namibia’s southern coast since 2021, received approval in June to drill 10 more. This year France’s TotalEnergies will spend $300mn — half of its global exploration budget — in the country.
- QHow can Namibia contribute to the oil and gas value chain?AThere are significant opportunities along the oil and gas value chain for Namibians to participate, especially in servicing the exploration sector. First, we need to build the capacity, both in the local workforce and in the institutions that will help oversee, develop and regulate Namibia’s oil and gas industry.
- QWhere are you? Can I visit you?ASure, welcome to you visit our factory at any time.
- QHow can technology transform the palm oil industry?AIn the face of sustainability challenges, climate action imperatives, and economic growth aspirations, exploring how cutting-edge technologies redefine decision-making, foster global partnerships, and steer the palm oil industry toward efficiency, greener operations, and enhanced transparency becomes crucial.
- QIs the palm oil industry undergoing a transformative phase?AIn conclusion, the palm oil industry is undergoing a transformative phase driven by cutting-edge technologies. Precision farming and smart plantations, enabled by drones and advanced sensors, redefine palm oil production for eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
- QWho owns the oil in Namibia?ATotal owns a 40% working interest, while QatarEnergy, Impact Oil and Gas and Namcor have stakes of 30%, 20% and 10%, respectively. Block 2913B, located in the Orange Basin, contains the Venus 1-X well, where by the end of 2025, TotalEnergies aims to approve its first oil development in Namibia.
- QWhat is the plan for the Namibian government & international oil companies?AThe plan for the Namibian government, the International Oil Companies and our partners is to accelerate development of these discoveries and to see first oil in Namibia. We have commenced appraisal work on the Graff-1 and Venus-1 discoveries and the initial results have been very encouraging.
